Change-of-plans Trouting
Had plans to meet up with Eddie and Mikey to fish for Walleye, but the wind threw a kink in that. Met up with a buddy in Sussex County and headed to the Trout spot instead. Not another soul in sight for 2+ hours until the boys joined us mid afternoon. Each hole held Trout, some more eager than others. Lots of last minute swipes but landed 3 fish, including a nice one just under 21". I haven't been out as much as I usually am this fall, so landing a quality fish definitely felt nice.

There you go! Nice job on the big one. Lighter Fluor leader should get those finicky trout during the cold months. Try floating floating rubber eggs under a float. Those rainbows love them in the winter.
