PB Brutus Wild Brownie
Mikey told me that i was going to die if i fished out of my tin can today so i went wading instead for a short but very productive trip. Had some used #4 leader and jig on but it looked ok so i kept it on and landed a 10" wild brown quickly and a small bass. A few snags later i noticed a little pull in the #5 braid near the connection knot...thank god i noticed it cause i gave it a little yank and it popped.
I cut it back and reconnected it to the leader...no joke, not 3 casts later i see a big orange flash on my jig and set the hook on a pretty beastly wild brown. No way i would've landed this fish if i didn't fix the line 3 casts earlier! Even with a fresh knot it was pretty intense. Constantly check your tackle boys and enjoy the NJ trout porn! http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/...4/CIMG1995.jpg |
