Past Few Weekends
 

I've gone out the past few weekends trying to land my first Muskie. I've had a few follows, and I've had a few fish surface next to the kayak early in the morning, but no luck yet.

Tired of the skunk, I decided to hit up some old river and pond spots.
I managed to land a few fish, including this little pike and decent bass.

I almost stepped on this guy while walking along the bank, but I did manage to get this pretty cool picture of him.

Stay persistent and you'll get your 'Ski! Tough fish to catch but you have to be patient! Keep it up dude!:D

If you're getting them to follow you know you're on the right track at least. Some good pics there, I like the frog but def diggin the Larry, nice chunk!!
While wrapping up a recent pike trip I met a guy that swore he was you man! Claimed his name was Nick M. and even shared that he posts here on NJF. I found no use pulling his card so I just let him keep lying. But just so you know, you've got an admirer out there. Imitation is the best form of flattery I guess??:p:p

Thanks guys! I figure it's just a matter of time before a Muskie is hungry enough to commit.

Hahaha maybe I should start a fan club! Thanks for the heads up though. It'd be pretty funny if I ran into him :)
