It was anchors aweigh for me aboard the USS John Dury New, DD 818, Norfolk, Va. 1964-65. Still love boats and water more than ever. Especially handling them. I steered my destroyer up and down the Suez Canal and never hit either side. LOL Happy veterans day to all who served to keep this country free.

A special thanks to my father who will be 85 in January. My Dad served on the USS Newport News from 1951 to 1955 to help keep our freedom.
