Whats the best base layer for standing around fishing or sitting in a tree stand?

I just got the coldgear 4.0... was out last sunday and had to take off my sweatshirt cause I was getting overheated... Really warm shirt.

Hey Rich,
I have been using a product called Mysterioso. It's a compression type top similar to under armor. It's fleece lined, has a turtle neck, and wicks moisture away like UA. I wear it under my dry suit in my kayak and on the west coast they wear it under the wet suits.
Cost is about $70.

Most days i rock the coldwear under armor long sleeve. Works great. Wear that with a tee shirt on top then another long sleeve with my stormr jacket. Sooooo warm!
