beautiful afternoon
 

Friday was heading over to the farm to check some cameras when I had to wait on the bridge for the stocking truck to stock the raritan.
watched as they threw at least 6 net fulls into the river , seeing some nice fish.

since its so close to home I went and grabbed my ultralight and headed back to the river.
fished for about an hour on this beautiful October afternoon, catching a dozen nice rainbows to 21", with all being over 15".
fish wanted a super slow moving lure, as they were probably still full of air from the stocking truck.Trout magnets seemed to fit that well.
All trout released to play another day
was def worth the quick ride back

Sure wasn't the main stem. Musta been the S branch. Those Rainbows seem to eat quicker than the browns and brookies did, nice report, thanx.
