I believe the party boats stayed at the dock sat night but everyone is out there right now, sun-mon. Should find out tomorrow.

I was supposed to be on the Gambler. Got the confirm call on Friday night...then got another call at 1pm Saturday saying we weren't sailing. I've heard that if you book 3 fall tuna trips, you might get to go out on 1. I'm 0 for 2, so maybe I'll get to keep my date on the Canyon Runner in 3 weeks.

You're almost guaranteed to be blown out once but this year is unlike any since I've been tuna fishing--25+/-yrs.

Well....hopefully the 3 week wait will be enough time for the weather and the tuna to figure out what they're doing.

Going on a Voyage tomorrow for the 30 hour trip. I really wished he cancelled given the forecast and a lack of tuna bite anywhere. However, I've been tuna fishing for 20+ years and know all of that can change in just a day. I'll pray to both the tuna and weather gods. I'll report when I get back Wednesday night.
