Raritan river 9/26/16:
Walked in the river from the fish ladder falls to the outflow below NJAW.
(pulled 3 tires) Coming back up by the fish ladder I found a bunch of cable attached to something on the bottom of the river at the end of the concrete wall, I have to go back with cable cutters and remove this nasty snag. There is a very large rectangle block there. I moved a big log off of the concrete block and let it drift away. I went to pull another log that was deeper next to the block BUT IT SWAM AWAY !! It was a 20+ pound catfish !! Got a pretty good look at, looked like a BIG Flathead to me ;)
