rod for Shimano bait runner 6000d

What is a good rod to pair with a Shimano Baitrunner 6000d, Will be used for chunking, as well throwing jigs up to 2oz from party boats. Preference is a 7ft rod, thanks

It depends on your budget.

I have a similar setup with a Star Nickelite rod. It's 7' and is stamped up to 2.5 ounces, but it handles more with ease. I used it to beat up some of the largest bluefish I've ever seen earlier this spring and had zero issues.
