Kids asked me to go crabbing, it's been many years. Need advice on good places to go that also rent boats, thinking AC to CapeMay or Delaware Bay. Many thanks!!!

Not trying to be a crab know it all but we didn't have much luck crabbing in MD or south, all the good crabbing has been a little north. Barneget Bay, Grab a rental and hit Oyster Creek. Anchor up on the channel edge and move up the line. If you have your own boat, they have a launch there. Also Manahawken bay, by LBI area has had some nice ones. This report is boat based, if you pm me I can tell you some other good public places to go with kids. Many towns have ordinances know but I'm pretty familiar. I roll with the kids and we have fun.
