We're up here on the Cape right now and that video pretty much sums up our New England life style. Fishing has been fantastic this trip. I don't want to leave. But we'll be back soon probably when the bluefin turn on.

Striped bass is an amazing fish and an amazing fishery. Incredible how they have mounted a comeback from the 70's / 80's when the fishery collapsed. Hope we've learned a valuable lesson and in this case history doesn't repeat itself. Glad the regulations this year provided some protection to the bigger fish, nothing will ever replace the excitement of the spring run and fish exploding on bunker while migrating past our waters. Great video and great life style!

I have been fortunate to see those kind of blitz's many times.

It those intense moments that made me a C/R fisherman when it pertains to stripers.

, while they are great tablefare. The adrenaline rush seeing them bounce around a top water bait will NEVER be matched while eating them ,
