Gas tax

After hearing they had to exempt the airlines from the gas tax because the airlines get no benefit.
I wonder why we still have to pay the over the road tax at the marinas.
Most slipped boats never see a road.
And with fill ups on many 100 to 300 gallons that's a huge additional expense

I sent a letter to my rep. (Ribble) last month to explain to him how the boating industry has made a gradual rebound and how a new gas tax would not help.He said that was a good point that he had not considered...and... he voted for the gas TAX???

Thanks, Gov. Fat Ass!

Don't let the door hit that prodigious posterior on your way out to political oblivion!

Re: Gas tax

The additional gas tax is total BS and it's also total BS that we pay any gas tax on the water. Just another money grab by the state who can't control spending.
Highest property taxes in the country, highest insurance rates, now this? No wonder there are more people and businesses moving out of NJ then moving in.

Important issues such as this should be voted on by the people, not the politicians who "supposedly" represent their constituents.

Follow the money.... Funny how all the companies that profit from the states road $$ now spending money on TV advertising trying to convince people to support the tax....
