Pre-work bass - 6/28/16
 

Hit a local pond yesterday morning. Landed 8 between 9 and 16" in a few hours on buzzbait. Best day I've had in awhile as the nice weather we've been having is great for ballgames and picnics, but sucks for fishing :D We need more cloudy, rainy days!

Bass bite was on fire at my local pond as well yesterday! It was the first day all summer really that has produced multiple 'pic-worthy' Bass. I also caught a bass on a buzzbait for the first time, that top water strike is awesome! I can see how you could get hooked. Now that I have a little confidence I will definitely start using buzzbaits more often. I also did well with cranks and spinnerbaits.

I think yesterday was just an all around good day for fishing. I think the cloud cover and change in barometric pressure had the fish on the feed. I went to a river by me and had one of the best days in a while. Smallmouth Rockbass and trout

now that's how you get ready for work landing a few nice largemouth. nicely done:cool: i agree with you we could use a little rain to get the feeder streams moving.
