No Luck on the Pike Hike
Hiked upstream along the Passaic in search of pike...saw some giant carp, perch, loads of sunnies, and a school of small largemouth (6-8") swimming. No pike, I only caught one jumbo rockbass in 3+ hours. Very disappointing considering my last time there (which was my first time there), I thought I found a smallmouth haven :p Beginner's luck. It was still low, more junk floating than last time. On the bright side, I did get to explore it a little and found out how far I could hike before things got too overgrown. Saw a groundhog around the same spot I saw him last time :D
