Capt. Paul ran another Open Boat Striped Bass trip today. On board we had regular Mark along with newcomers Matt, Sean, Pat, Tyler & Frank. Got our usual early start and loaded the Well with Bunker. Paul had no trouble locating the Bunker schools and Bass reads, The problem was getting the bites. We Live Lined all morning without a touch. Finally we put out the Spoons and landed our first Bass. A short time later we hooked up and after brief fight we lost our second Bass due to some aggressive Rod handling. That was it for the day. It was a long day with a good bunch of guys. As is the case lately, there was a Mad Dog Bass bite at 6PM it was a little late for us. :(:(
