Frog Hawg!

Hit up a local pond with a buddy of mine after work. Started chucking a weedless frog around the pads and matted weeds, and got teased by a few small fish that were nipping at the legs. I reached one end of the pond and cast out along some matted grass, and saw a BIG wake that stopped a few feet short of the frog. I pitched it back in there on top of him, and SLURP! Luckily I was using heavy braid and was able to drag this pig through the grass. She had the head of a 6-7 pounder, but she was stubby so I'll say she was pushing 5.

That was the only fish of the evening, but what else do you need?

Nice man. Seems like every time I find myself a good weedy lake they do a weed kill or fix a dam or something and screw it up.

That head is disproportionately big for the body.
