Rock Bottom WED Tuna Fishing

Saw a nice weather window for Wednesday and just couldn't pass it up. Loaded our gear and headed off about 2am. 1/3 of the way into the trip we realized the forecast was a little off but kept going. Set up on the troll and had the first- and only tuna about an hour into it. Had 3-5 footers out there most of the day too. We read tons of bait any marked a bunch of fish but none wanted to come up and bite, and from what we heard most people struggled yesterday. And the conditions were a little crappy to tilefish so we hit a wreck on the way in, and had some real crazy current and had to use 20oz to hold! Wound up with a cod, a nice 5lb SEABASS, and tons of huge bergals.

We also now have 3 spots available for Saturday and spots Sunday open as well for the last weekend of SEABASS which has been very very good for us!
