Surprise striper
 

Hit my local honeyhole last night to find a 6ft snake slithering by my favorite post....that said..a big no for hanging there. Also saw a bunch of mongo shads. Went down river casting and casting and switched to my goto lure and bam...miss...cast again...bam miss....slowed the retrieve a bit...wham! Miss wtf!...one last cast and whamo thought it was a decent smallie but was a gorgeous 12in little striper. Healthy release with a thankyoy girl and off it went into the darkness. 45 min and a striper...im happy...careful of the snakes guys a buddy of mine saw a 9ft plus pet that was released here but got away from him in a hole. Nice. Good to see life in the river. Bring rats next time to coax that big ol snake out. Been watching naked and afraid so I'm confident snake meat on an open fire is in order!

Sounds to me with all the naked and arfraid jigman been watching he was try to prep him self incase he got picked for the show! You tell that jigger man keep his close on and all those snake problems will be gone

A striper is always a great surprise! Nice work.

Of course, a suprised stripper could go either way. The extra P makes a difference.
