what a forecast

Why can't we get a forecast in October like this one in the Hudson 'til Sunday nite---light/variable, 2-4'. 71-74* @ 200 line & the 60 line with 61-65* in between. Damn....probably footballs to 50lbs but they pretty much all eat the same & they are YFT's...they got to be there.....

Already caught yellowfin on Monday - not us but our good friend - with the new water that moved in it should be solid fishing. We are leaving tonight for an overnighter and plan to get there at 6am so hopefully we'll have a good report by this time tomorrow.

Tuna newbie question...when you say the "200 line" or "60 line", what are you referring to? A single specific place like a lat/lon coordinate, or a general thing like wherever the water gets over 200 feet deep? Or something completely different? Thanks.

You're on the right track yanos...On the Rutgers Hudson Canyon water temp chart there is a 60 meter and 200 meter line, among others....

Here's the link if interested: http://marine.rutgers.edu/cool/sat_data/?
Hope that helps...see you out there.....;)
