ESE wind bad?

I'm supposed to be going out June 4 and looking at distant weather forecast it's saying there will be an east-southeast wind that day. Just curious in everyone's experience does an east wind lead to bad striper/fluke fishing this time of year? I'm sure the forecast will change 1,000 times between now and then anyway.

South wind blows the bait out of the fishes mouth.

west is best

That forecast is so far out it means nothing.

I agree.
They had trouble with the 5 day forecast.

Yeah that's why I said it would probably change 1,000 times, I was just asking the general question about the east wind.

In general east sucks.

Wind with the tide is good for fishing and supposedly the fluke are hitting on incoming tide so that would be good in RB for instance.

South wind brings cold water.
