River Pike 5/18/2016
 

Gotta love this time of year. Daylight past 8pm means I have time to fish after work. Decided to target my favorite toothy critters on the river yesterday evening. I ended up fishing a stretch of river I hadn't fished before. Not a ton of action but a couple of swipes and this nice approximately 27 to 28" pike. Water was still slightly higher than I usually like in this particular stretch, so definitely some potential at this spot.

Hmmm some nice yoo-hoo colored water there.

As always good to see river still producing. Nice toothy there as well.

Pikeage! Love it! I'll have to visit my toothy pets soon! Haven't seen them or visited them in quite some time! Nice one Tuna!

nice pike, i never really fished for pike in a river. my buddy fishes the three bridges area and does well,looks like i will have to try that sometime.keep up the good work.
