Reel Class Saturday 5/14 Combo Trip
 

Did a split bottom then bass n blues trip today. Out of the 5 or so bottom drops we hit 3 of them were covered in mostly keeper sized seabass up to 3# or so. As a matter of fact on 2 of the pieces we had to leave (both in 125' of water) because we couldn't stand throwing so many fish back - this AND OUR REGS AND SEASON is absurd!

Wound up with a few cod, some ling a couple pollock and a few sea Ravens.
Finished up inshore on the troll and had nothing but blues to 20# but did have a jumbo bass chase a plug to the boat, only to swim away.

Nice say great weather and ok fishing. Seabass were a heartbreaker. Congrats to Jeff Jeff Samuel for being our puller and pickled egg supplier!
