Great morning on the big D
 

Been on vacation this week and so tried to do as much fishing as I could. Tuesday I caught 3 beautiful Stipers only keeping my limit . Wednesday I caught a bunch of delicious Ling and Cod and this morning I finally banged the Shad on the D. I fished from 6:30 to 10:30 am landing at least 12 and had many more hookups . Probably 50/50 buck to roe ratio. Fish still fighting very strong with many multiple jumps . All caught on gold or silver hammered spoons. May has been my most productive month up at the Gap. The river looks great and there's still lots of shad in it.

good job on the linesides. nothing like a good shad bite on the big D,the gap is a nice place this time of year,not too many people around yet.glad to hear you did well.
