The test was a success
I received my new Diawa Tatula reel on Saturday and went out on the local lake on Sunday to give it a try. I simply wanted to give the reel a try and wasn't expecting to catch anything. The wind was brutal and right in my face so I tied on a 1 oz Strike King jig to give me some weight to throw into the wind. I've never had much luck with jigs previously. Well I guess my jig cherry was broken. Five bass in 30 minutes, four of pretty nice size. Not bad for 30 minutes of fishing.

That's awesome. Right presentation with the right gear at the right place at the right time. . |
Re: The test was a success
nice job, my revo is about 6 years old and starting to make some weird noises. I've tried to fix/clean it a few times, but still acting up so i might be in for a new baitcasting reel soon, might look into this one. I have two revos, they don't impress me much, but they're ok.
