keyport seahawk - big blues, no stripes
 

We headed out early with some recent info. had plenty of live bunker from the creek and did a few drifts live lining and chunking...not a touch. tried a few more spots and nothing.

We anchored too in a few spots even though we weren't marking much and i tried some winter flounder rigs on lighter tackle...i almost forgot what a skate felt like, glad they reminded me...that's all i caught on that.

We really didn't want to troll so we set up over the clam beds and threw out live bunker, chunks, clam, and winter flounder rig. ended up saving the day with a little bit of big bluefish action but no stripers. biggest blue was 34.5" crushed the live bunker. a few hit clams and a few hit chunks as well. Nothing on jigs.
