Bait and Tackle Stores (Shrewsbury - Navasink)
 

Its been awhile since I needed to buy some fresh bait, and it seems that almost all the bait and tackle stores that were in Long branch have closed. I know of one (Long branch bait and tackle) but phone goes right to a voice mail. So cant tell if it is open anymore.

Anybody know of what bait stores still exist in the Long branch, Oceanport, Monmouth Beach area?? Just looking for some Sand worms to drift with.

Place you mentioned in Long Branch did not reopen this Spring. Sponsor Atlantic Bait and Tackle always has what you need. Pete is a nice guy to talk to as well.

What about that little shop on the Red Bank side of the West Front Street bridge ? Not sure if they're still there.

It's been a struggle for a lot of the B/T shops in this area and unfortunately a bunch have closed their doors the last few years.... I miss being able to hang out and talk fishing with everyone, but times have been changing not for the better :(

The non sponsor in Long Branch has now reopened in the past month or so. Do not know what they have in stock.
