Rahway River re-stock Today?
 

Chatted with someone fishing in Cranford on walk to train this morning and he said they are re-stocking the Rahway River today. Can anyone confirm?

that's what the schedule says. hoping we get some rain today, water levels are pretty low where I fish. also next wed then Friday Friday

Looks like i'm gonna make a trip to Rahway soon for those trout :)

I didn't realize there was a published schedule of in-season stocking, thanks for the link! I agree on the rain, water levels by me are ok down by the dam at N. Union but the farther upstream you go the lower they get. Most of my go-to holes in Nomahegan and Lenape are completely cut-off by shallows so until we get some rain none of the trout stocked today will be able to re-locate to the less accessible spots I like to fish. The only upside is that the Bass are stuck and easy to find!

They definitely stocked ,had a buddy watch em throw a couple of nets in today , hopefully it rains tonight and they spread out a little bit

I have a uncle who lives basically at the Rahway river and he said he keeps seeing the stocking trucks drive back and forth right past his house. He just called me before said he's going for trout tomorrow. I'm making the drive to his house in a few hours to try and get some brown trout.
