Where to get Bunker in Raritan
 

Hew folks. I usually fish out front. Giving raritain a try. I will be going out of Keyport. Any suggestions on where I can toss the cast net for some bunker. Or is it a if you run into them kind of thing. Or a part of the bay thing.

Look around the sailboat morings in Keyport. Great Kills harbor is always good.

i bet you'll see plenty coming out, but depends on the tide, weather, etc.

Hey ruger . If your new to the bay and launching out of Keyport you have to play the tides right. The water at that launch gets very low so retrieving your boat can get complicated. As for bunker depending on wind you should run across them on your trip. But a good spot for bunker is in great kills harbor . It's my" ace in the hole "when I can't find them .

Just go over to Perth Amboy it is loaded.If your going out of Keyport look by the sail boats on your way out. If you do not see them there cut across the triangle and keep looking then go toward the sail boats in Perth Amboy.

Anybody seeing them inside the Shrewsbury or Navasink ??
