Not-a-Trout yak report 4/10
 

Got stuck at work this weekend so as much as I would have loved to join the Trout masses :p, I opted for a solo night mission. Plans to get out in the boat with MikeyTopaz fell through, so I threw the yak on the roof and headed west. Got to the lake around 7 to a pretty consistent wind in one of my go-to spots, so after making a bunch of drifts with no fish, I made a longgg paddle into the wind and darkness to nice calm cove. Connected with 4 Walleye within a 20 minute period before some loud grumblings from deep within my kayak caused me to pack it in around 10pm :o. Highlight of the night was stopping halfway through a retrieve to scratch my face when a Walleye completely exploded on my motionless lure. Water temp back down to a cool 43 degrees, this week should help that!

Are those Walleye? Did you go for Walleye out of season? Did you attempt to WALLEYE OR DIE on this day? Noooooooooo, you were going for Hybrids of course and accidentally a bunch of Walleye jumped in the yak! Yea that's your story and you should stick with it! Shhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Damn the man!!!:D

Hahaha fasteddie!! And skunkcity hell ya keep them coming I can't wait to take the boat out for night fishing if anything when the herring spawn starts hit me up and we can take my boat because everyone else I fish with can't go late!

paddling is a quiet way to get on them, nice walleyes. hope to get a few of those myself this year, keep up the good work:D
