Jack Cravelle from the beach
 

With the wind still blowing here in Cancun , and the port being closed, my friend George Cullen and I were fishing off the beach . He landed a nice Jack in the 5-7 lb. range using a Penn 360 spinning reel and a 9 foot Lamiglas rod . 20 lb. braid did the trick on casting into the wind , and he was using a 4 inch rubber Storm shad. He did not have to cast far , as the fish are in the trough chasing small bait fish... He is still at it looking to hook into a Snook. Be back soon ....Pete

Hey Pete,

They are trying to make Sandy Hook Bay a marine sanctuary. Might be a good time to sell the tackle shop and stay in Cancun
