3 Beast kind of week
 

With the fat lady waiting impatiently to sing her song, I put some time in on 6 different bodies of water this week before the ice is all gone. I've spent the passed month picking up good numbers, but this week was all about QUALITY. Overall ended up with 3 Pike over 35", all Ice PB's for me. Bass and Pickerel were pretty active and the jig bite was very hot with Crappie, Perch and Gills coming up through the holes.
Best part of my week was spending Valentine's Day on the ice with my lady (her idea, her lake, her spots). Very slow day, much less cold and windy than Saturday was, but she managed to outfish me again with a Pickerel on a jigging rod. I will gladly take the skunking though, as she made things better with a nice home-cooked dinner ;).

This week is not looking good for the ice, get out there while you can!!

Rob, All though, I'm not a ice fisherman, what you posted is what it's all about, AWESOME fish, and being out on the water with the one you love. Thanks for the post. Sorry to say, I CANNOT wait for the warm weather. ( no offense to the hard water guy's) My fun this week that I'm really looking forward to is, Friday night is the night I survey all my tackle, and re-arrange my boxes, and equipment. I know, that's pretty sorry to some for a Friday night, but the hell with them, I cant wait...LOL

Nice fish Rob. You've got a primo girl, too. Braving the wknd in brutal conditions. Not many like that around dude. Thumbs up on a wknd well spent!
