First Day on the Ice
 

The temps this past week have made for some great ice fishing. Got a call from bigboy last night if I was down to hit the hardwater. Called up some tackle shops to see if there was any fishable ice and no one could tell us much. So we decided to leave around 9. We a arrived to a small group of guys already fishing. As soon as we got there some flags have been set off and fish were brought to the ice. Within 30 or so min I get a flag and pull out my first pike through the ice. I realase it and as im setting up my tipup bigboy yells "I got a flag". Slams the hook and another one on the ice. A nicer fish!! I ended up with 4 pike and a dart. And bigboy got 3 pike and a bass. Great first day on the ice!!! FISH ON!!!

Way to go guys! Good to see you found the safest ice in the state! Place has been fished really hard for the last 12 days or so and the feedbags are still on. Great looking Pike fellas! Keep em coming!!!

how is eddie not in the background of that picture? I thought he lived on the ice over there! nice job guys, be careful that place freezes weird. 5 inches one spot, 1 inch 30 yards away, watch for changes.

Congrats on some nice looking fish! I was walking off when I ran into you guys in the parking lot. Good job hanging in there with less than favorable conditions.
