Jumbos for days! First ice!
 

If it wasn't for work I would of been on the ice at first light but I made the best of it by hitting a local spot after work for a hour and half. Managed 6 perch, 2 pumpkinseeds, and 2 crappies. I do love jigging panfish but come on polar vortexs I wanna get after muskies, walleye, and lakers!http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/a...106_164827.jpg

Way to go buddy! Making the most of your free time is what it's all about. Good looking Perch right there. My mouth is watering just thinking about my 1st winter Panfish fish fry. Good stuff bro!!!

Haha very public pond but very hard to find! I know another public pond that's ready to go but it's about an acre if that and only has 3-5" gills, crappies and maybe 8" pickerel.
