Freezing white leggers

Brought home some from the NK3 Sunday figuring on going back Tuesday. Now with rain tomorrow I probably won't go back until after Christmas. Anybody ever freeze them? Anyway I'm going to try. Will report on results.

Frugal, I was out Sunday with Matty as well. I did in fact bring frozen whites to use. I cant tell you if they worked or not because as you know the bite sucked anyway. I've used them in the past and caught fish though.

Frozen whites or greens don't work as well as fresh but I would freeze and keep them. If you get on a boat that doesn't have any then frozen is better than nothing.

I cant imagine frozen white leggers working better than live green crab. IMHO

I would say if you let them defrost, you would have a decent bight on them.

live crabs or not you are usually cutting there legs off, cutting them in half, ripping the shell off or smashing it with a sinker
