Raritan Bay Blues

Tons of bunker being slammed by big blues today. Bunker were being slashed and chopped up all around the boat. Surface water commotion looked like a washing machine at times. Incredible fishing with all fish over 10 and up to 15lbs.

We came into 2 pods blitzing on the surface, hoping they were bass. There were a few bass mixed in, but mostly BIG angry blues chomping anything in sight! Very fun, biggest went 35".

Jerry if it makes you feel better , this season has been the first in 40 plus years I have not seen the ocean live! Work and life kept me 500 miles west. Maybe next year! Ugh
