Went ultralight jigging in a small beaver pond in Central Jersey the past 2 days and landed 44 fish with 1/32oz leadhead jigs and 1" twister tails on 2 lb test line. 24 bluegills to 8.5", 16 crappies to 13", 2 largemouth bass to 18", a 9.5" golden shiner and 9" warmouth were lots of fun on light tackle. The biggest fish escaped. It looked like a bass > 5 lbs.

Re: my catch of the day pics
When I returned yesterday evening, I caught 23 more bluegills and crappies but a very big fish escaped. 67 fish in 3 trips was great fishing. 4 days ago I only caught 1 small bass in the other half of the pond. A beaver sneaked up behind me, slapped its tail on the water very loudly and nearly gave me a heart attack.

Nj219bands, great report! With the numbers you put up its not too surprising why ppl get swole. Flattering or not, you gotta be doing something right to produce results like you have. Good report man, keep em ' coming!
