FISH STIX - Stripes, Togs & Seabass

Hey All, here's a quick report from our last few trips.

Thursday 10/15 crew of 6 for stripers. It was a good one. The guys landed over a dozen bass and lost just as many all on bunkers. Kept 6 unders and one over, released the rest. Fish average around 25lbs and biggest around 30lbs.

Wednesday 10/21 crew of 4 for C&R blackfish. The morning started out pretty good with drop and reel blackfish. They turned off pretty quickly and turned into a very slow pick. Landed around 25 keepers and only a couple of shorts only keeping our legal NJ limit. :( Mostly averaged around 3-6lbs.

Thursday 10/22 crew of 6 for seabass. First stop was drop and reel but unfortunately were the wrong size. Moved out to some deep water and started picking at jumbo porgys and keeper and short seabass. Next stop on a wreck and picked the same. Ended the day with 75 seabass and 15 jumbo porgys. Not a bad start.
