capt's kevin gerrity and dave bender took long time customer dan lubach of brick and friends out for their annual overnighter on october 11/12. with the forecast buttercup and the columbus day holiday we knew it was going to be very crowded particularly since most private boats had not sailed in almost three weeks. what we didnt expect was 157 boats in one spot. we anchored up right where we had them on thursday and caught two nice yellowfins fairly quick. well, thats basically the story,in hidsight which is always 20/20 i should have drifted like the majority of boats. many guys had good catches, many guys did not. we were on the unlucky side of this one and all i could do was apologize to dan and the guys. we put a ton of effort into these trips kevin and i and we feel terible when this happens, we take it personally.
hopefully we can get a few more trips in before the jenny lee is high and dry for the winter. we will hope for redemption.http://jennyleesportfishing.com/gall...es//25/586.jpg

Some days you're the bug and some days you're the windshield. But still came home with fish :) you will gettem next time

Anyone who has fished with you knows that you are more disappointed than us when it happens that way. Your vessel is always in top shape, your preparation is second to none, the work ethic on deck insane and your overall record speaks for itself, all that with the your passion for getting the charter the trip of a lifetime is why we always come back. Oh and by the way NICE YF's
