A few good ones on Sunday
 

What could have been my last pike trip of the season, it ended up with a pretty good couple of hours.

I just HAD to try a spot that produced hundreds over the years, with nothing this year......and again ZERO ! I think I will let that spot rest for a couple of years ! LOL

Hit another spot and landed 6 pike with two being in the upper 30 inch range and all the rest in the high 20's, low 30 inch range.

Between work, salt water fishing and hunting......it looks like the spinner baits will stay dry for some time.

A short encounter with a black bear as I made it to a bend in the river was a special way to end the season.

wow those pike are sooooo much greener than any of the ones i've ever caught in there or BL, i'm guessing that water must have been very clear! Very nice looking fish. Such bright vibrant colors when they're in clear water, goes for most fish i've noticed! They have very dull pale colorswhen living in murky water.

you sure you were in NJ? hahaha

I'm still down to reunite my kayak with the saltwater if you ever need a wing man out there let me know!

Definitely some length to those fish Dan, very nice. And I've yet to encounter a Black Bear on the river, crazy!

Glad you found the fish, I was getting worried that the fish all but vanished according to recent posts. Well done !!
