Early morning RR smallies
 

I couldn't sleep on Saturday night, so I decided not to fight it and go fishing instead. I arrived at Duke falls at 4:00 AM to see if I could bag a walleye or nocturnal smallie, but it was not to be. After the sun came up I moved down river, and the smallies started banging topwater lures. As the sun got higher I managed a nice kicker on a tube jig. That fish fought like he was three times his size. Overall I landed four, with several misses.

Awesome video man and great action! I was just at the raritan yesterday for a bass trip(my 2nd time at the raritan river) and was surprised by the smallmouths I found. My first trip was a complete skunk but yesterday was very fun!
