Scene of the crime...
First time for everything. Long story short. While fishing a lake in the del water gap nat rec area, I hear a car engine rev then see an SUV go plunging into the lake. Turns out not accident. Stolen vehicle dump off. I was on the opposite side of lake. Nearby family called 911. No one in car. The driver ran off. Pa State Police arrive (along with Park Rangers), see me fishing and yell out to me to come over. Gave them my info and statement. Car radio was still on while sitting in water. Very strange. I hope they get the pos(described as "young male, brown skin, 18-25") who ruined a car for no reason other than stupidity. This wasn't in downtown Newark or Camden, but a supposedly nice area of the poconos. Kind of sad.
Oh yeah, fly fishing tally: 2 lmb 43 bluegill 12 pumpkinseed 3 tree branches 150 pond scum thingamabobs https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...0a&oe=565813A0 https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...71&oe=56477C56 https://scontent-iad3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...99&oe=565BFE1C |

Scumbag! Hope they find his a$$!!
While paddling the Pompton River a few years ago, my buddy and I discovered 2 submerged vehicles right next to each other. Called the police and that night they were removed. |
