looking to go crabing
Looking to do some crabbing soon.
I live in Brick and would like to fish and crab off a pier or dock any suggestions? not going to burn any ones spot PM me Thanks Steve |
Re: looking to go crabing
Crabbing has been good in Tuckerton & Sea Side just stay away from all the people and public docks. We mostly crab Oyster Creek from our boat but you will get them from land, just check your tides.

Re: looking to go crabing
Took 4 hours but I had 18 on the public pier in Seaside. Get there bright and early before vacationers.

Re: looking to go crabing
The park at the Brick side of the Mantoloking Bridge has been producing some nice crabs lately

Re: looking to go crabing
HDMarc, you mentioned "The park at the Brick side of the Mantoloking Bridge has been producing some nice crabs lately" Is the old mantaloking bridge remnant, (now a pier ?), open to the public for crabbing?

Re: looking to go crabing
It's a county park on the north side of the bridge with a boat ramp, the remnant of the old bridge on the south side is a fishing and crabbing pier, both open to the public
