Open fluke trip, Down Deep, tomorrow (wed) Afternoon

Hi guys.

Rare opp'y tomorrow (wed) afternoon for an open fluke trip on the Down Deep with a light crowd.

Weather looks PERFECT with light NW wind, and a solid outgoing tide all afternoon.

Water temps have been rising steadily, and the fluking has def been heating up, with lots of action, a steadily improving keeper ratio, and a good mix of 5lb+ fish, especially on bucktails.

So this should be a GREAT shot at some genuine doormats!

To be clear, this is a great boat, with a great crew, and a great chance to sharpen your bucktailing skills in a high-touch, high-service environment.

Boat sails out of Keyport NJ, so short ride to the prime fluke grounds.

Trip is 2:30 - 8:30. Fare is $125 plus tip for the mate. Includes all bait and terminal tackle (excludes Gulp! and bucktails, but they are available on board.)

We need 1 more guy to sail.

Call me at 914-525-2567, or email me at Dean@abov.com if you have any questions.

Call Captain Mario direct at 609-827-1232 to book.

Should be a GREAT day. Hope you can make it!

Tight lines, my friends,

Latest report has NW (not NE) 5-10K, so drift should be perfect on the outgoing tide, which should start just before we sail and run all the time til the end of the trip. I decided not to waste my time on a morning trip, because it's going to be wind against tide until 1PM.

The wind tomorrow is irrelavent. I see it as an opportunity to attack and mop up other primed areas. Many who have sailed will tell you when things aren't good I have no problem staying tied to the dock. Now is not the time and tomorrow morning looks just fine.
