Prowler5 - Weekend Fluke and 3:30 Reports
6 Attachment(s)
Hey folks, Brian here. We were out on every trip this weekend. Saturday night we had a lighter than expected crowd on board. We worked the edges of the channels and we caught some nice keepers and had pretty good short action. Sunday's Fluke trip we had a nice bunch of people on board. We went to the same area as the night before only to have no conditions for a drift so we moved around trying to find a drift. When we got one the fishing was better with some nice keepers and some short action. Sunday night's Wreck trip we had a good crowd and we went out to the ling grounds. Unfortunately we only had a slow pick at the lings due to bad conditions with the southerly wind coming on and a screaming tide. Capt. Jimmy tried hard for us even staying out late to try one more drop. We sail 7 days a week 7:30-2:30 for Fluke, Friday and Saturday afternoons 3:30-9:00 for Fluke, Sunday we do a Special Wreck trip from 3:30-9:00 although the last two weeks we have stayed out a little later. We also ask you to bring a small cooler with ice with you for your catch. An iced catch results in a much better quality fish. We look forward to seeing you on the dock. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
