Down Deep - 7/14 5am Marathon Open Boat Ling / Cod etc...

Today Capt. Rob ran a 5am Marathon Ling & Cod open boat trip with another great group of guys. Weather early on was fine and fishing was just off from what we have been accustom to everyday for the past couple of weeks. The guys managed to put together a catch of Ling, keeper Cod and some Flounders that could win a pool on some Fluke trips :) With the weather building we cut the trip short. Thanks guys for coming aboard, we hope to see you all again shortly.

Capt. Rob & mate Anthony worked their collective butts off for us today, unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating and and the fish (aside from the ocean pout) weren't all that hungry. Went home with a couple of meals worth of filets.
Will someone remind me why pout are protected? |
