P 7/9
 

Tried new water for OPF on the big river P. Caught 3 small mouth to 19 inches and a giant perch, no sign of pike. Tried 2 other spots which I have not fished in years because I never caught or saw a fish at either. Still haven't and it's still weird as both are snack in the middle of productive waters
If it doesn't rain too much tonight I will push into GP deep tomorrow in a quest for large. Will be on the road and fishing salt for rest of month

I saw a guy launching as I was leaving work(around 7pm). Apparently he was either oblivious to the forecast or just didn't care. I would not want to be on the river in a full deluge with lightning all around. Hope it was worth it buddy! lol


It will f up the river for sure just not sure how much. Basically for every 0.25", it goes up about 6". This rain seems to be a quick hitter albeit heavy.

I wish it would either rain a crap load for a few days or just stop raining lol.

I was at PASSAIC fork @ 2 BRIDGES for my lunch hour yesterday throwing a buzzbait-no follows. Nothing was biting except for the skeeters.

Flow was strong, color yoohoo & not to much debris floating.
Hitting it again today, working up the POMPTON fork today-maybe get that SM I have been looking for.
