dirty water beast pike
 

i was away during the pikeathon so as soon as i could get out (monday, yesterday) i went pike fishing. i caught a few fish in the 27-30" range and a few smaller ones and had a few miss the lure a couple of times. ended up with this beast as my biggest.

i'm posting this to eddie! this is what i did in a few hours after work after the river was beaten to hell by the pike a thon! I'll see you next year! don't plan the contest next time on my vacation! hahahaha unless you're scared!

Great fish Chris !!! What did she measure out at ? I don't think the river was hit hard at all, I fished 5 times without seeing anyone. I think Eddie has a "special" river !! LOL

I am pissed I didn't get take a picture of another hybrid that I caught on Saturday morning. I didn't even measure it, being under the leading size, and did a quick release without a picture. DUH !

Good fish but yeah the whole arm extension thing has got to go! It's a 32-33 inch fish and it's a beauty. Bring it on buddy!!! Somebody has to take the crown from me next year. I've only had it for the last 3YEARS!!! Hopefully the contest will happen at the same time next year.:D

hahaha i'm in a little john boat by myself what do you want me to do cuddle it in my lap!? i can only reach so far to set the camera timer hahaha. it was 33.5" but as thick as i've ever seen. I know where eddie fishes, he leaves too much background in his pictures! i wasn't saying it was big enough to win, i'm just saying that's what i got in first try just a few hours, give me a whole week and you're done!!! don't you dare have it the same week! my wife is going to plan a stupid vacation again noooooooooo!

I saw the magical 44 incher too, but i'm going to leave it alone and let it grow to 46" by next year and knock this guy off his throne!
