Saturday bass contest
 

fished a local bass contest but I guess the bass didn't want to play. Not one angler caught their limit. I blame the weed kill they did! I managed just two smallies, but one was a nice 3.5 pounder. Things were so tough I got third place with that bag and missed 2nd by just 2 oz. haha.

You did well Chris. Congrats on a fine catch. Should've called me, I had a 21 inch Smallie on the River yesterday. I could've smuggled her to you to secure 1st place. For a small fee of course!!!:o

Horsed it out of current behind a rock with a bait caster. I thought it was a monster largemouth the way it fought since that lake is pretty much all largemouth...too bad I couldn't even get one dink largemouth hahaha

Was that Pompton? I fished a tournament there Sunday, 2nd place. Same story though, most fish caught was 3. Winning weight was just under 6LBs

We took second, 2 fish total of 5LB 3oz
