Finally a couple of big bass...
 

Finally after nearly 400 bass this year(including 67 today), I got not one but two 20"+ bass today(different ponds). Both on topwater - one buzzbait the other Horny Toad. One 21", 3.5 lb skinny bass, one 20" 4.25 lb plump bass. Plump one jumped three times which was nothing short of awesome. Rest of day it was a dink fest and nothing else over 13". In fact I got a half dozen or so the size of my middle finger! Hungry little guys. Bass were jumping in all the small ponds chasing insects and shiners. Love overcast days like this as its perfect for fishing.

I'm always amazed that a 7 inch bass will annihilate a 5 inch worm. Nice catches

I use a small buzzbait and it was longer than a few of the bass :eek:

67 bass in one day? I don't care how small they are, that's officially a slam-fest! :eek:

Bass is a bass so they all count but too many shorties. Just odd no bass between 13" and 19"

Maybe something happened to a few years spawn at this place. Nice catch though!
