Feelin the urge as usual I tried high and low to find somebody avail and willing to go! Light bulb goes off and I call Ken and he's in and he's amped!!! We got to the pond a little earlier than usual and I wasn't too thrilled with the wind factor but we made the run and set up. Not long bait started making that lovely splish splashing sound and before you know it it was game on! Decent action for most of the night, a slow steady pick. One here one there all night. I think we ended up with ten fish total for the evening. Ken had a few nice hybrids as well as myself mixed in with a few juvi's and a nice largemouth to round out the bag. Had a blast with Ken first time out doing the night bite with him and he is quite a determined angler! I told him "Don't Worry Just Keep Casting" and he did and was rewarded with some nice chunky stripes!!! Yea Buddy!!! Finally packed it in about two am and looking forward to doing it all over again with the MADMAN!!!

JUST KEEP CASTING!!! That is the truth plain and simple. Great catch from 2 great anglers. Thanx for the report Dale! Solid night on the sweet water with some beautiful fish to show.

Ken, just tell they wife your going to switch the gears on the normal morning fishing. Once you go out a few times and start getting into them you'll never want to fish the morning hours again. The night action in this state is NUTZ!!!

Fun stuff for sure...Crazy the amount of action on the surface and the number of fish we were marking across the lake as we headed in. There are fish in NJ!!! Dale knows his Wipers that's for certain..but it's not like you didn't know that already.

Thanks again for the invite Dale...and Jman for not being able to make it. Oh and thanks for not mentioning that I managed to lose your big fish lure you lent me while I wasn't even using it! Note to others...never lay a rod on the boat with the lure hanging over the side when switching to another rod...the next Wiper you hook up will head straight for that rod/lure and the net will not fit under it and 500 lbs of me and Dale dancing on a 16ft boat in the dark trying to land that bugger is not pretty!!! Order was placed today and estimated delivery date is 6/24! :D

Awesome night in my book..and yes I'm still casting...just in case!

Looks & sounds like you guys had a great night! Sweet lookin bag all around.
"Don't worry, just keep casting." Simple but strong knowledge. Someone told me this about 3-4 years ago and my fishing game turned up!! Well said.

Sounds like a great night, I got to give that night fishing a try. I just got to figure out how to get the couch in the boat.:rolleyes:

Sounds like you guys had a very productive outing, I haven't been out for the night bite yet these reports got me itchin to get out there, good stuff.
